Glass Craft Artistry was born out of my growing fascination of the many ways glass can be manipulated into wonderful works of art. Mostly, I love the way light shines through colored glass, painting objects beyond.

Stained glass is my primary art form. I enjoy creating panels, night lights, sun catchers, fan lights and various other projects. I'm happy to design my own patterns, but it is a luxury and something that time allows for only occasionally. The subject matter I pull from tends to be nature inspired, whether scenes or animals, and sometimes they are just geometric or abstract designs. Really, it's whatever catches my eye or touches a part of my soul.

Stained glass, mosaic, fused glass, enameling, blown glass all are beautiful to me. I have yet to try blowing glass which would be an absolute thrill to me. I remember as a child, my favorite souveniers to buy were small clear blown glass animals that appeared to be woven with strands and hollow inside. If I was lucky, there would be a viewing window to watch someone actually blowing glass or using a torch. As for now, stained glass, mosaic and fusing are my areas of glass art and I absolutely love creating.
